Intermediate level: Developing Picture Books
Designed especially for students who have completed Claire’s beginners course An Introduction to Creating Picture Books, this practical based course will help you develop your book dummies and written and illustrative portfolio in a friendly supportive group environment.
During the classes you will:

Undertake small projects to build or enhance your portfolio

Sharpen your writing skills

Develop your drawing and painting techniques

Receive a balance of one to one tuition and group discussions

Obtain support and guidance on marketing yourself

Hear a visiting published author / illustrator talk about their work

Listen to a London publisher talk about the industry and give individual advice on your work
