Intermediate level: Developing Picture Books

Designed especially for students who have completed Claire’s beginners course An Introduction to Creating Picture Books, this practical based course will help you develop your book dummies and written and illustrative portfolio in a friendly supportive group environment.

During the classes you will:

• Undertake small projects to build or enhance your portfolio
• Sharpen your writing skills
• Develop your drawing and painting techniques
• Receive a balance of one to one tuition and group discussions
• Obtain support and guidance on marketing yourself
• Listen to a London publisher talk about the industry and give individual feedback on your work
  

Course Dates: 12th Jan – 23rd March 2011, Wednesday evenings 7.00 - 9.30pm (There will be no lesson during half term on the 23rd Feb)
