‘I was first introduced to Claire's work when I saw a postcard of a painting she had done of her partner drinking beer. I liked the colours and strong composition, which immediately captured his character and personality. When I saw the photo taken by chance of my daughters I immediately knew that I wanted Claire to paint it—and so embarked on my first commission. What an enjoyable experience. Claire made the whole process very easy and it was great fun. The end product is a wonderful painting of my daughters which everyone adores, and a great conversation piece.’
